Friday Favorites + Spartan Race Giveaway

Happy Friday! So super psyched that it's the weekend. As per usual. This weekend will be a lot of Mom and Rodney time since Steven will be doing stuff for his team's rugby tournament (he's out with an injury) and then spending a night in Phoenix. That means I get to lay on the couch and watch Friends marathons and rub my puppy's belly all night!

I'm trying to calm myself and haven't posted about this next event because every time I think about it I basically freak out with excitement but.....next Wednesday Chrissy is visiting me!!!! Chrissy is one of my best, closest, and dearest friends. We met freshman year of high school and hated each other at first (but literally only because we thought the other hated us) and then became best friends. She hasn't been out here yet and I literally just can't even contain my thrilled feelings. SIX DAYS BABY!!!!!

Just so you can get a taste of our love, here are some pictures, from high school to last summer. I don't even care if she gets mad; these pictures explain everything! :)

The first few are college pictures...

(wisdom teeth surgery)

^ the last picture I have, from the last time we saw each other, last July which is NOT OK, and....

Oldest one I could find, from high school with our delightful (currently pregnant!!) best friend Jillian in the middle! Yes that's me at 17. I look exactly the same. It's fine.

To continue with the rest of my favorites, here are some more pictures! Although not as fun as the pictures of me and Chrissy probably.

A wheel variation

Beautiful Sadia brought me back macaroons from New York! Swoon.

Yes.

This is my dog :)

And my Spartan Race giveaway! Enter here to win a free entry code for a Spartan Race anywhere in the US!

Have a great weekend people! See you on Monday....I'm sure I'll have some marrrrvelous things to share :)

  6. Promise me that if you find a good place in Tucson that has macarons, you will tell me! The only place I can ever find them is Tucson Meet Yourself and they didn't have any last year. Crushed, I was just crushed.
