WIAW #13 and Apple Pie Smoothie Recipe

Happy hump day peeps! Today is extra fabulous for me and I'd be more than happy to tell you why! Today is my last day before fall break. I go back on Tuesday. Hellooo free days! They will be filled with extra, midday yoga classes, gym days, baking, and studying for my NASM test. Also after school today I am going to World Market with my friend and then we are meeting another friend for a wine tasting up in northern Tucson, the fancy area of Tucson :) For What I Ate Wednesday I have some eats from my trip in Vegas. Eating healthy is possible when you're on vacation, duh!



Breakfast! Chobani peach Greek yogurt


A banana/oat Odwella bar


Naked juice/smoothie...can't get enough of these!


Coco  Cafe coconut water with coffee. SO delicious!




And last night's random dinner...a veggie burger, one slice of Ezekiel bread, broccoli, a spoonful of cheesy potatoes, and a glass of Cupcake wine!


Oh and here's a disgustingly adorable weiner for you to gaze at.


Camel practice.....this pose is HARD hard hard.

Me and Mr. Handsome on a walk

Yesterday I did this HIIT workout in my living room, took Rodney on a looong walk, practiced a few yoga poses, including my forearm stand. Guess what.....

Got my first forearm stand without the wall!!! I was freaking out. I fell twice and on my third attempt I somehow glided right into it and held it for 7 full seconds in the middle of the living room. I don't think I've ever been so excited! Progress, people.

After my exercise I made this smoothie for the first time and just about fell out of my chair with happiness.....I love apples and anything to do with them so this was just perfection in a glass.


Apple Pie Smoothie
1 apple, cored and sliced
1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tsp apple pie spice
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup vanilla almond milk




I mean....hellloooo beautiful. Try it. Love it. Let me know :)

  3. Congrats on the forearm stand - that's awesome! I think you did pretty well grabbing healthy eats on the go. I love Naked juice since it's full of vitamins and fills me up a bit.
